Moundridge has gone 10-0 against Sedgwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Moundridge Wildcats take on the Sedgwick Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Moundridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season.
Moundridge is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Little River just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redskins. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Moundridge's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cammi Unruh, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds. Unruh is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Addy Patrick was another key player, putting up eight points.
Even though they lost, Moundridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Sedgwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Lyons.
Moundridge will need focus on slowing down Ella Vondracek, one of several Sedgwick players who made an impact when they last played. She dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaby Petersen, who posted eight points along with seven boards and five assists.
Having lost for the first time this season, Moundridge fell to 4-1. As for Sedgwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Moundridge hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55 points per game. It's a different story for Sedgwick, though, as they've been averaging only 39.2 points. The only thing between Moundridge and another offensive beatdown is Sedgwick. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Moundridge strolled past Sedgwick when the teams last played back in February by a score of 51-33. Does Moundridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sedgwick turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
