After flying high against the Fossil Ridge Panthers  last Friday, the Keller Central Chargers came back down to earth. Keller Central fell just short of Timber Creek by a score of  3-2. The  match was a  1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Keller Central couldn't quite close it out.

 Keller Central has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record  this season. As for Timber Creek, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keller Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on V.R. Eaton at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Timber Creek, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Byron Nelson at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Timber Creek is coming into the  game with three straight  victories on the road,  so Byron Nelson is out to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
