 Meanwhile, Basic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They were beaten by Liberty 49-7. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-7.
 Basic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Desert Oasis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
