Given the Falcons' advantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings  (they are ranked 23rd, while the Hornets are ranked 144th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Freeland pushed their record up to 14-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 73.0 points per game.
