Baseball Recap: Madison Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Madison Central extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 19-12 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Corbin Redhounds. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhounds, too.

As for Corbin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Corbin's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Cima, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Madison Central and Corbin will both be playing South Warren the next time they take the field. The Redhounds will host the Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
