Basketball Recap: Brooklyn College Academy Piles Up the Points Against Boerum Hill

Brooklyn College Academy won against A-Tech last Wednesday with 103 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Brooklyn College Academy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Boerum Hill 103-31. Given Brooklyn College Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Boerum Hill is ranked 695th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brooklyn College Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.0 points per game. As for Boerum Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooklyn College Academy will venture away from home to square off against Brooklyn Prospect at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boerum Hill, they are taking a road trip to face off against Uncommon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
