On Friday, The South Medford Panthers never let their opponents score. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over Roseburg. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South Medford also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Bridger Foss was a one-man wrecking crew for South Medford as he rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns. Wesley Boyd and his 83 yards on the ground were also a key factor in South Medford's win.
South Medford's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.5 points per game. As for Roseburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Medford will face off against North Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (North Medford is ranked 12th, while South Medford is ranked 21st). As for Roseburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Grants Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Grants Pass focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
