Hot Springs had won eight straight home games  and  Adrian Gomez did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Hot Springs Tigers narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Cobre Indians  76-73 which was due in part to  Gomez, who  shot 55% from the field on his way to 30  points and four  steals. He is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's  played.
  Tristan Polanco was another key player,  going 6-for-9  to rack up 15 points and five  boards. That's the most  points  he has posted since back in January.
 Despite the loss, Cobre still got an impressive performance from   Zavin Guck, who  dropped  a double-double with 38 points and 11  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izon Guck, who  put up 15  points and four  steals.
Hot Springs is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 57.4 points over those games. Cobre moved to 17-11 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
