They really took it to Cozad for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-24 victory on the road. Minden has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.
Minden was led to victory by Kinsie Land and Mattie Kamery. Land scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Kamery scored 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Kamery has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makenna Betty, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Minden's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Cozad, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Minden won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Swedes at 4:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Cozad, they will be playing at home against the Centurions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
