On Saturday, South Haven Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Fayette Academy, taking the game 59-49. Given South Haven Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Fayette Academy is ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Fayette Academy saw an underclassman step up: Harris Armour went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 3 assists. The match was Armour's third in a row with at least ten points. Miles Dawkins was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
South Haven Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Fayette Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
