Raleigh-Egypt scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Bolton Wildcats at home by a 97-79 margin. The Pharaohs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Bolton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rahsad MacLin out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 boards. MacLin continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was E'Darian Washington, who went 8 of 15 en route to 24 points and three steals.

Raleigh-Egypt now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Bolton, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Raleigh-Egypt will head out to face off against Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Westwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Bolton, they will host Tennessee Preparatory Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Bolton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 80 points per game this season.
