6A Conference 7 recap October 8, 2013
Lake Braddock extended the longest winning streak in 6A Conference 7 this week by beating West Potomac, 58-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bruins.
The Wolverines lost to Lake Braddock 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
T.C. Williams's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sam Deen threw for 79 and 1 touchdown and Philip Tyler had 46 yards receiving. On the ground Malik Carney chipped in 175 yards. Alex Bledsoe helped T.C. Williams' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 11 yards.

David Symmes was a passing and rushing force as South County topped West Springfield. He completed 9 passes for 108 yards and also ran for 70 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Darius Holland of T.C. Williams is the league leader in passing yards this season with 475. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kevin Quigley. The South County star has 8 catches for 231 yards.
