Ashlynn Lemos continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven steals and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Malaya Thomas, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
East Bernard has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Danbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 15 of their last 18 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
East Bernard will be playing at home against Hempstead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hempstead will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1367th, while East Bernard is ranked 645th). As for Danbury, they will head out on the road to take on Harmony School of Discovery at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
