Potts Camp waltzed into their contest  on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Thrasher Rebels as they made off with  a  16-6 victory. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by  exactly ten  runs.

 Alyssa Clifton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  scoring five  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Zoey Clark was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Charlie Holmes, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Potts Camp was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .469. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thrasher only posted a  batting average of  .240.
Potts Camp's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-2. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Thrasher,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-15.
 Potts Camp does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thrasher, they will host Walnut  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
