Iowa Park won the last time they faced Springtown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks won by a run and slipped past the Porcupines 2-1.

CJ McNeill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Iowa Park's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Springtown, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8-1.
