Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Booker). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-35 win over the Goodwell Eagles. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Kiowas' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 750th in Texas, while the Eagles are ranked 323rd in Oklahoma).

Booker's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. As for Goodwell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker will finish 2024 at home by hosting Felt at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. Felt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Goodwell, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tyrone at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Goodwell is facing Tyrone at the right time seeing as Tyrone is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
