 James River Midlothian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover Hill only posted  an  OBP of  .370.
James River Midlothian pushed their record up to 13-5 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Clover Hill, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-6.
 Looking ahead, James River Midlothian will take on Prince George at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Clover Hill, they will host Dinwiddie  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Generals will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
