Even though Arlington has not done well against Yutan recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Arlington snuck past Yutan with a 49-43 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Arlington.
Trent Koger was the offensive standout of the matchup as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Arlington's points. Another player making a difference was Oliver Ladehoff, who scored 14 points.
Nebraska City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arlington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Nebraska City didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Arlington in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, but they still walked away with a 36-32 victory.
