The TMI-Episcopal Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. TMI-Episcopal is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
TMI-Episcopal's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Great Hearts Northern Oaks as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
Holt Spivey made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Spivey was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Dylan Cunningham looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Back at the plate, Diego Fernandez and Joel Lassahn did most of the damage at the plate: Fernandez went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Lassahn got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Fernandez has become a key player for TMI-Episcopal: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Luchi Cantu, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
TMI-Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive games.
While St. Stephen's Episcopal didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Round Rock Christian Academy on Friday. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Spartans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
TMI-Episcopal's record now sits at 3-5. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their record is now 4-1.
