Pisgah moved up to 95 from 128 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A/2A Conference 1. The Bears were able to move up by topping Tuscola 27-7.
Franklin extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating North Henderson, 44-8. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Knights' Trevor Craft and Corey Foster have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Craft has thrown for 918 yards this season, while Foster has 51 catches for 1,057 yards. Brevard's Anthony Benjamin leads the league in rushing yards with 560.
As it stands, the Blue Devils are in fifth, while Smoky Mountain is in fourth.
North Henderson fell to Franklin 44-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ashton Woodring threw for 140 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss.
