ROWVA/Williamsfield lost to Stark County on Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Talan Hull made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Hull was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

In other batting news, ROWVA/Williamsfield let Nick Little and Jaxson Strom run wild. Little went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run, while Strom went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Little a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Preston Schroeder, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

ROWVA/Williamsfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
