After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nixa, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Waynesville Tigers 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for Central as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Waynesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Central will square off against Kickapoo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waynesville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Osage on the 10th.
