Makyiah Ward went supernova for Mt. Zion Prep Academy, scoring 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ward has scored all season. Nyla McFadden was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Mt. Zion Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Quality Education Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. As for Quality Education Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
