The Warriors blew past Indianapolis Kings 13-4 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with Indianapolis Kings: they've now won eight in a row.
Nolan Guzman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Covenant Christian got a big performance out of Blake Cope, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Cope has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 11-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Kegeris, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Covenant Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Park Tudor never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They skirted past Pike 1-0.
Park Tudor secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Dominic Gasper, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Covenant Christian's record now sits at 17-11. As for Park Tudor, their record is now 13-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Covenant Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Park Tudor struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Covenant Christian might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Park Tudor when the teams last played back in April. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
