After three games on the road, Champaign Central is heading back home. They will take on the Danville Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Champaign Central strolled past Peoria Notre Dame with points to spare, taking the game 51-32.
Chris Bush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Axel Baldwin, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Danville came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 51-41 victory over Glenbard South on Saturday. The victory was just what Danville needed coming off of a 62-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Champaign Central's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-16. As for Danville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.
