The Mooresville Pioneers are on the road again on Wednesday to play the Decatur Central Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Mooresville is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win was just what Decatur Central needed coming off of an 8-1 defeat in their prior matchup.
The team relied heavily on Kaylynn Napier, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
Mooresville pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs per game. As for Decatur Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
