Basketball Recap: Altamont Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Altamont walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Telos Titans on Thursday as they made off with a 65-45 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Altamont's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Telos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Altamont won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.76 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Telos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
