GlenOak is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  22-1 margin over Lorain. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won ten contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.

 On the hitting side,  Quincy Mazeke was a standout: he got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mason Olbon, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double.

Meanwhile, St. Ignatius made easy work of Elyria  on Wednesday and carried off  an  8-1 win.
 Patrick Cousineau looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk).
 At the plate,  Nolan Ignacio and  Jackson Anthony did most of the damage at the plate:  Ignacio  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Anthony  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.  Ryan Whelan also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 GlenOak's victory was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 24-4. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for St. Ignatius, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record  this season.
