The Highlands Christian Knights will stay at home for another game and welcome the FAU High Owls at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Highlands Christian struggled with assists on Tuesday (Donna Klein Jewish Academy had 11 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Highlands Christian received a tough blow as they fell 69-54 to Donna Klein Jewish Academy.
The losing side was boosted by Adrian Suero, who scored 30 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Samuel Service was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, FAU High's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 63-27 loss at the hands of Lake Worth Christian. While losing is never fun, FAU High can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 748th, while Lake Worth Christian is ranked 314th).
Highlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for FAU High, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
Everything came up roses for Highlands Christian against FAU High in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 as the team secured a 80-50 victory. Does Highlands Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will FAU High turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
