Community School of Davidson had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Corvian Community Cardinals as they made off with a 15-5 win. Considering the Spartans have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Parish was a standout: he scored four runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Gallagher, who scored two runs off of three hits.

Community School of Davidson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corvian Community only posted an OBP of .400.

Community School of Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Corvian Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
