Entiat suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 48-32 loss to Republic. The Tigers had been ranked 24th, but fell to 27 following the defeat.
The marquee game in 1B Northeast - South (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Almira-Coulee-Hartline and Odessa/Harrington. The Warriors comes into the matchup ranked ninth in the state, while the Titans ranks eighth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Almira-Coulee-Hartline takes on Odessa/Harrington. Brandon Walsh's team has allowed 108 points this season, while the Titans have given up 154.
Pateros made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 956 from 1,025. The improvement came about via a 46-32 victory over Soap Lake/Wilson Creek last week.
