The Hazen Wildcats won against the Williamstown Blue Devils on Wednesday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Hazen really took it to Williamstown for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-27 victory on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-13.
Despite the loss, Williamstown saw an underclassman step up: Colby Laggner scored six points.
Hazen's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Williamstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Hazen will head out on the road to face off against Enosburg Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Williamstown will be home for the holidays to greet Vergennes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
