Baseball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Takes a Loss

TEACH Homeschool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Wake County HomeSchool Warriors, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Thursday.

TEACH Homeschool saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Bianco, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Bianco has become a key player for TEACH Homeschool: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise. Christopher Gard also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

TEACH Homeschool's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wake County HomeSchool, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Coincidentally, TEACH Homeschool and Wake County HomeSchool will both be playing Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association the next time they take the field. Wake County HomeSchool will head out to face Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while TEACH Homeschool will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
