The Prescott Curley Wolves will face off against the Camden Fairview Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Prescott barely beat Horatio the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Prescott's way against Horatio on Monday as Prescott made off with an 11-4 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Curley Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Spencer Hubbard made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Prescott let Rhett Bullinger and Jayden Purtle run wild. Bullinger scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Purtle scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Bullinger a new career-high in RBI (two).
Prescott kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Camden Fairview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Smackover on Tuesday. The Cardinals not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11, 2024.
Dayson Connelly was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Connelly was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Camden Fairview got a massive performance out of Jy'Mauri Utsey, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Zac Morehead was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Prescott's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Camden Fairview, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Prescott has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Camden Fairview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
