Nuview Bridge extended the longest winning streak in Warrior (8 Man) this week by beating Public Safety Academy, 50-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Phillip McElroy was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 106 yards on 14 carries as Nuview Bridge beat the Phoenix. Teammate Dane Futrell added to the ground attack by rushing for 80 yards.
Rivera was the best wideout in the league this week as Jermaine Williams' team bested Public Safety Academy. Rivera tallied two receptions for 35 yards. Jay Williams helped Nuview Bridge's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
Paul Fitzpatrick put up the best numbers through the air as San Jacinto Valley Academy fell to Noli Indian. He finished with seven completions for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Fitzpatrick's favorite target this week was Mario Arnold, who caught seven passes for 34 yards.
Nuview Bridge's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Futrell has thrown for 492 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Rivera has 10 catches for 237 yards. Futrell also leads the league in rushing with 574 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Will Mathews' team takes on the Braves. At the moment, the Phoenix are in third, while Noli Indian is in second.
The Knights led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Public Safety Academy. Futrell threw for 50 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
