The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Millersburg in their matchups with East Juniata: they've now lost three in a row.
Millersburg lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Romberger, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. Romberger has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last nine times he's played. Kamdyn Heintzelman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and three steals.
Millersburg's loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-9. As for East Juniata, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Millersburg will take on Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for East Juniata, they will be playing at home against Susquenita at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
