The North Lincoln Knights entered their tilt with the Rockingham County Cougars with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. North Lincoln took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-7 victory over Rockingham County. Considering North Lincoln has won six matchups by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
North Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Aaron Doeden, who picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Lincoln's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.8 points per game. As for Rockingham County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
North Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hickory will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Rockingham County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
