The Early College Sharks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-20 defeat at the hands of World of Inquiry. Early College was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.
Jaedon Adams was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven steals for World of Inquiry. Adams is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Ibrahim Bangura was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Early College dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.2 points per game. As for World of Inquiry, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Early College will take on Greece Odyssey at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Early College is facing Greece Odyssey at the right time seeing as Greece Odyssey is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for World of Inquiry, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Rochester Prep at 6:00 p.m. Rochester Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something World of Inquiry surely won't give up without a fight.
