Ramona has gone 9-1 against Valley Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Jaguars at 4:00  p.m. Ramona will be strutting in after a  victory while Valley Center will be coming in after a  defeat.
Ramona is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past El Cajon Valley 23-1 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 Taeya Kitchen was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  hit and  allowed only  one  earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.

 In other batting news,  Kayla Gibson was a standout: she scored five  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. Those  five  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Evie Brown, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple.
 Ramona  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.2.
Meanwhile, Valley Center came up short against Canyon Crest Academy on Tuesday and fell  9-5.
 Valley Center saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Winter Molina, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Ramona's record now sits at 6-11-1. As for Valley Center, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record  this season.
