Hononegah came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They escaped with a win against the Rockford East E-Rabs by the margin of a single free throw, 62-61. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hononegah is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Rockford East, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-4.

Hononegah and Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.8 points per game this season. As for Rockford East, they will challenge Althoff Catholic at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Althoff Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Rockford East likes a good challenge.
