Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millersport). They put the hurt on the Harvest Prep Warriors with a sharp 29-6 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Lakers have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kendyl Bonkowski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Emma Raver was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with six stolen bases, seven RBI, and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Claire Haney, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
