Kingsway and the Minutemen are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Kingsway Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Washington Township Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Last Saturday, Kingsway lost to the Garnets at home by a decisive 53-39 margin. While losing is never fun, Kingsway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Garnets are ranked 104th).
Meanwhile, Washington Township came up short against the Blue Devils on Saturday and fell 51-41.
Kingsway has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Washington Township, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Kingsway skirted past the Minutemen 45-42 in their previous matchup back in January. Does Kingsway have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
