Inlet Grove relied on the efforts of Robert Brown, who went 5 of 10 en route to 19 points and five assists, and Jorden Black, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Brown's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayler Hodge White, who posted five points along with six assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, Somerset College Prep Academy came into Thursday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Master's Academy with a sharp 54-34 win back in December of 2024. That looming 54-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.
Inlet Grove better keep an eye on Micheal Hill. He was instrumental in Somerset College Prep Academy's win, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of David Horn, who put up eight points in addition to five boards and four steals.
Inlet Grove pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.
