After losing to Central the last time they met, Cheraw decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Braves have posted against the Eagles since September 8, 2022.

Cheraw walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Jaylaya Hudley paced Cheraw's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hudley got some help from Kalah Johnson and her 23 assists. Jamison Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cheraw has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Cheraw will take on Marlboro County at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Buford at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
