Having just played yesterday, the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Jefferson-Morgan will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Monday, Jefferson-Morgan had just enough and edged Charleroi out 46-43.
Jefferson-Morgan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Huston Guesman out in front who scored 14 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Guesman has scored at least 25% of Jefferson-Morgan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Woodward, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem Center pushed their score all the way to 77 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 81-77 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waynesburg Central. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (74), Bethlehem Center still had to take the loss.
Jefferson-Morgan's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Bethlehem Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Jefferson-Morgan beat Bethlehem Center 49-37 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson-Morgan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
