Splendora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Kelley, who scored 15 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Kelley has scored at least 25% of Splendora's points. Another player making a difference was Jaydn McNeely, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.
Splendora's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-6. As for Tarkington, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 12-6.
Splendora will be home for the holidays to greet Hamshire-Fannett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamshire-Fannett has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 456 points over their last seven matches. As for Tarkington, they will head out on the road to face off against Coldspring-Oakhurst at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
