If Lincoln Northeast wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kearney, they should've done a better job of containing Alyssa Bauer. The Bearcats came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Bauer, who had 11 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Kearney easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16.

Kearney is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Lincoln Northeast, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-18.
