They came out on top against Central Georgia Arts by a score of 52-45 on Tuesday. Windsor Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Windsor Academy to victory were Audrey Dobson and Kyndall Bowen. Dobson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, while Bowen scored 28 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Dobson scored 15 or more points.
Windsor Academy's win ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7. As for Central Georgia Arts, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Academy and Trinity Christian School of Griffin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Trinity Christian School of Griffin is ranked 487th, while Windsor Academy is ranked 500th). Central Georgia Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Windsor Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
