Addison Mashburn made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Mashburn was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, West Union got a massive performance out of Lylah Adams, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with seven stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Adams has brought in this season. Emily Stapleton was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
