Joey Secatore was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Zeke Bogosian was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kelton Fertel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Keefe Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Keefe Tech now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Leicester, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
